About Me

I'm passionate about cybersecurity. My focus is on reverse engineering, offensive security, hardware hacking, steganography, and forensics. I spend most of my time self-studying and trying to improve continuously, and I'm especially drawn to the offensive side, actively reading and experimenting with evasion techniques. I find and report vulnerabilities in real software for the fun of it.

I'm a Linux kernel contributor with several CVEs in mainline. I've found and reported vulnerabilities in open-source projects (VLC, libmspack, file(1), onnxruntime-extensions, gdk-pixbuf). I did malware analysis research at the TU Delft Cyber Security Research Group, which led to a publication at ACM IMC 2026: "Investigating Next.js React2Shell Exploitation."

On the CTF side, I founded the vianu_hack CTF team in high school (peaked at #2 nationally on CTFtime) and I now occasionally compete alongside vianu_hack or TU Delft's CTF team. I've authored challenges for national and international competitions, and mentored at Unbreakable Romania, running a webinar on reverse engineering Android and iOS applications.

I'm also deeply into AI, especially Image Recognition & Natural Language Processing, and I love solving algorithmic and logical problems. I attended Jane Street FTTP (Software Engineering Track) in London, a notoriously selective program for first-year students in software engineering and quantitative finance. Back in high school, I founded both the cybersecurity and AI clubs at Tudor Vianu National High School of Computer Science in Bucharest.

When I'm off-keyboard, you'll find me travelling, shooting photos, hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, or spending time with my friends.
